What am I doing? Has technology become my master?
It's 11:45! For me, that is like slumber party late. I've been working on this whole blogging thing. HTML is definitely foreign and possibly brainwashing. I've come to a conclusion...blogging is truly evil. I mean, take a look at the name B-L-O-G-G-I-N-G. Two words can be formed here: Gog and Bling. Gog, a land which receives God's wrath. Bling (usually repeated twice for lack of a better vocabulary), a description of a ridiculously large piece of jewelry worn for vanity's sake. So, when we blog we are spending time in a vain manner that is worthy of wrath. Hmmm, I think I'm on to something. Perhap's DaVinci is the creator of this whole mess. Yeah, there is something about it in one of his paintings. It's late. But really, I'm on to something...

Cousins with nothin' but LOVE
M's first b-day with all his cousins at Mema and Papa's. I laugh every time I look at this picture! Note: 1)The pleased look of "Cousin I" with everyone being so affectionate with him. It's almost as if I hear him say, "I have better things to do right now than crowd around and get some stinking picture." 2) The overjoyed face of "Cousin A" as she loves on her brother. 3) M's fixation with his new brother's head

Up with Trees
Rachel's Dad bought us some legendary trees, shummardi oaks. I planted them in the front with a little help from M. Being the good theologian that he is, he decided to become one with the dirt from which man came. As I was digging the holes, M exlored the wonders of dirt. I didn't realized that he had devoloped a keen interest in the taste of the earthy substance until I opened his mouth and found a disturbing image of what was the result of spittal and dirt (John 9 comes to mind). Ah, but we are a dirty people.
